On 2nd October 2018, Enviros UK, the holding company of Enviros Group, acquired 100% of MG3’s assets, IP, company name, database, unbilled work, and full project history.

This strategic move, made at a time of rising industry demand, reinforced our position against global competitors and expanded our ability to deliver tailored, high-quality services.

Since then, Enviros has grown in strength, capability, and global reach—backed by a solid structure and a proven track record with some of the world’s leading Oil & Gas and Energy companies.

HGIS

In a strategic move to cement our leadership in Southeast Asia, Enviros acquired HGIS, a respected Malaysian Geosolutions company with a solid track record in the region.

This acquisition expanded our portfolio and secured long- term contracts with industry giants Petronas and Shell, significantly boosting revenue and strengthening our market presence.

With HGIS now part of the Enviros Group, we’ve accelerated our regional growth, enhanced operational capabilities, and reinforced our position as a leading provider of geoscience and energy solutions across Southeast Asia.

Alpine Ocean

In a strategic move to strengthen our presence across the Americas, Enviros acquired a 51% stake in Alpine Ocean, a renowned Geosciences company with over 67 years of experience in the region.

The acquisition expands our capabilities and connects us with key clients and major projects across North and South America.

With Alpine Ocean now part of the Enviros Group, we’ve boosted our operational footprint, technical expertise, and market leadership. This milestone also supports our strategy to grow Enviros’ influence in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

Lighthouse

In a strategic expansion of our subsea technology and survey capabilities, Enviros acquired a majority stake in Lighthouse on 8 January 2026, integrating two advanced autonomous underwater vehicles, HUGIN and GAVIA, into our already sophisticated asset portfolio.

This acquisition significantly enhances Enviros’s ability to deliver high-resolution geophysical, environmental, and seabed survey services using state-of-the-art AUV technology, while establishing a Global Centre of Excellence for AUV operations within the Group. With Lighthouse’s more than 40 years of industry experience, the acquisition accelerates regional growth, expands our offshore data acquisition capabilities, and strengthens Enviros’s positioning in the Mediterranean, further reinforcing our role as a global provider of innovative underwater survey and energy solutions.
